Ridder in miniatuur - Miniature knight.

Dit is mijn tweede poging tot miniatuurschilderen. Het bestaat uit 2 delen: de ruiter en het paard op het voetstuk.

Het is schaal 28mm of om het duidelijker te maken: ongeveer twee theelichtjes op elkaar.

Ik heb gekozen om er een blauwe ruiter van te maken die mooi past bij de kleuren van het paard. Het paard heb ik het eerst geschilderd, een aantal weken geleden. De ruiter heb ik vorig weekend gemaakt. Ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik het nu al duidelijk vind dat mijn techniek vooruit gaat. Dit is echt zo'n hobby waarbij je veel moet oefenen voor het resultaat zichtbaar wordt.

Gelukkig krijg ik steeds veel tekst en uitleg van de echtgenoot :-).
Ik ben echt heel tevreden met het resultaat. Vooral de ruiter is schitterend gelukt.

This is my second attempt to miniature painting. It consists of 2 parts: the horseman and a horse fixed on the base.

It's scale 28mm or to be more precise: about the size of 2 candle lights on top of each other.

I decided to make a blue knight so he matches the colours of the horse. I painted the horse a couple of weeks ago. Last weekend I finished the horseman. To be honest: this really is a hobby you have to practice to become good at and to get a nice result.

Luckily I always get a lot of explanation and advice from the husband :-).
I'm very happy with the result. I like my knight especially.
